Wow, the feedback from last week’s challenge was incredible, people finding new ways to express themselves and feel God’s presence with them and also just taking time out to rest, be still, knowing that God is in control. We have such an incredible God, who is a living, who is personal and who loves us more than we could ever think or imagine!
So onto this week’s challenge…I was listening to Sue Omerod’s talk on line last week (which you can find by going to the talks section on our website) and I had an overwhelming sense of inspiration that lead me to this challenge. The challenge is to purposely ask God what He thinks about situations in our life but not just to ask Him, do not forget to wait for him to answer us! In all situations, find out what God’s perspective is, be expectant of Him to answer. It might not be the answer we thought or wanted but like last’s week challenge we need to remember to be still and know that He is God. He knows what is best for us and He ALWAYS works for the good of His children, even if it’s not what we expect or want because He knows what we actually need!
Let us pray: Father, thank you for your love for us. God give us ears to hear and eyes to see your love and mercy for us. We want to tune into you rather than ourselves and others. Father, give us fresh insight to our situations let us see circumstances from your perspective rather than our own. Lord we commit to you, longing to know you more. You’re our biggest fan Almighty God! Lord we want to function in accordance to who you created us to be. Help us Father we pray. We love you Jesus, and we look forward to this week’s encounters.
